LANSING - On Tuesday, December 14, members of the Ingham County Health Department met to discuss current Coronavirus updates in the county.
This informative meeting allowed great insights with a number of vast statistics on how the county has been impacted by the Coronavirus.
Health Officer Linda Vail, stated when reading a map of the county, “This is kind of spread out throughout the county. Some of the more concentrated areas are going to be places where there’s lots of apartment complexes. Lots of places where people, you know, live essentially all in the same place.”
Numerous studies of the area showed how vaccines helped ease the Coronavirus pandemic. In addition, the new variant was discussed and the current state of the Coronavirus pandemic was examined. As of recently, the meeting explained that we have been having a rise of cases, similar to last year.
