MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - A 70-year-old woman has died after a vehicle crash left her injured.

Linda Merwin of Mason was involved in a two-vehicle crash on the afternoon of April 17 at the intersection of Mt. Hope Road and Maumee Drive. A vehicle was traveling westbound on Mt. Hope Road when it collided with another vehicle that was pulling out of Glendale Cemetery.

Multiple people were injured in the crash but the drivers and passengers from both vehicles were wearing their seat belts.

The investigation into what caused the crash remains ongoing. Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call Meridian Township Police at 517.853.4800 or submit an anonymous tip through their website.
