Haslett Teen Killed in Single Vehicle Crash

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - On February 27, 2021 at 1:37 am, Meridian Township Police were called to the scene of a single vehicle fatal crash. The driver was identified as Daniel James Bath, a 19-year-old from Haslett.

The crash occurred at the area of Jolly Road near Ambassador Drive. The vehicle was heading eastbound on Jolly Road and lost control and hit a tree.

According to a press release about the incident, the driver was reported to have been wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. The Ingham County Regional Crash Investigation Team assisted the Meridian Township Police during this investigation.
