MDOT Public Meeting: M-43 From Park Lake Road to Oak Pointe Court

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - On November 4, Meridian Township residents gathered to hear from the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) to hear of the new 2022-2023 road project. This road project will take place on the M-43 (Grand River Avenue), between Park Lake Road and Oak Pointe Court.

Greg Losh, Transportation Service Center Manager at Lansing, stated after the event, “Tonight is an informational time frame for us to reach out to the public and say ‘These are our initial plans’ and talk to them about it and see if they have any input or concerns that we can address.”

A large crowd came to be a part of the meeting, as many asked questions and had discussions to better understand the project. Marna Wilson, with the Indian Hills Homeowners Association, said to note that the citizens of Meridian Township really appreciate MDOT for being so forthright about the planned road developments.
