10th Outdoor Warning Siren Installed in Meridian Township

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The 10th outdoor warning siren was recently installed at the intersection of Lake Lansing Road and Park Lake Road. Outdoor warning sirens can be found all through the Township and are used for emergency situations.

While each warning siren covers a 5,000 ft. radius of the county, The Meridian Township Fire Department will continue to expand the number of sirens in the area. The Township hopes to have 15 warning sirens installed by 2026.

For more information or questions on outdoor warning sirens, please contact the Meridian Township Fire Department at 517.853.4700.
