Pass It Forward

Pass It Forward

UPDATE: EAST LANSING - ePiFanyNow held their 12th biannual event at MSU’s Federal Credit Union on Sunday, February 12. More than three hundred people showed up dedicated to create a positive change in the community.

The idea is for participants to take two hours out of their lives and commit random acts of kindness for complete strangers.

Some people headed to sparrow hospital to hand out lotto cards, others gave out a tank of gas, and there were even those who purchased groceries for someone else. The act of kindness big or small went a long way.

Bob Hoffman, ePIFanyNow founder, said, “No matter where you are in life, no matter how bad you think it is, how poor you are, how rich you are, you still have the opportunity to make a difference in somebody else’s life. And that might be just acknowledging another person and looking them in the eye and smiling at them.”

After the two hours is up, everyone participating reconvenes and shares their experiences over a small meal, bringing to life the accomplishments of the day.

This was the largest event for ePIphany-Now in the Lansing area. Founder, Bob Hoffman, hopes it will continue to grow and people everywhere will “pass if forward.”
