OKEMOS - Construction season doesn't just mean lane closures, closed roads and filling potholes, but it also means new additions and almost complete projects. The new Panera Bread off Grand River Avenue is getting close to adding its final touches.
Construction workers were working both outside and inside of the new drive-thru building to finish the final touches of detail before more big installations.
Outside, workers are preparing to lay down the asphalt and concrete that will make up the parking lot and walkways of the restaurant. Brick to complete the outside appearance of the building will soon be laid out.
Inside, electricians are installing poles and light bulbs to begin the indoor detailing.
Panera Bread is on track to be open by mid-August.
HOMTV will continue providing updates on the project as it continues.
