MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - At the Meridian Township Planning Commission meeting on November 26, a public hearing was held for Green Castle Properties LLC.
The request is to construct a 23,094-square foot new car dealership on Grand River Avenue. The applicants showed a site plan of where the dealership will locate at and implicated that there’s no impact on current traffic.
“One of the questions that raises is why there’re so many parking spaces,” a representative from the dealership said. “As a dealership, the cars are what we do. It’s service parking. It’s customer parking. It’s new car inventory. It’s used car inventory.”
Planning Commission Vice Chair John Scott-Craig addressed “green” in his comments toward this application. He suggested the dealer to put as much green as he can at the front.
