OKEMOS - A local hair salon moved to a new location this fall, and the staff took the time to celebrate the occasion.

Capellini Salon, which has been in business for 15 years, moved from their location on Haslett Road to Central Park Drive in September, in order to secure a future for the business.

The salon held an open house on Sunday, Nov 4, to thank their friends, coworkers, and customers, for their support through the transition. Guests were treated to hors d'oeuvres, beverages, product discounts, and even some product drawings.

According to the owner, Amy Dawson, business has never been better since the move, and that "the phone rings off the hook, guests are pouring in the door, we're more than grateful."
