OKEMOS - On Tuesday, July 27, the Memorial Healthcare institute for Neuroscience celebrated the expansion of its new location in Okemos on Jolly Road.

The institution hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for this location as a part of their expansion announcement featuring the president and CEO of the Memorial Healthcare institution Brian Long, who gave a speech alongside the Chief of Neurology and the Director of multiple Sclerosis, Dr. Rany Aburashed.

Dr. Rany said that. "These satellite locations, I think help a lot because it gives patients access to general neurology when they need it, and also in addition to that if they need that more sub-specialized care, they will be able to access that very easily from us in Owosso if we have to see them there.”

This location serves as a part of an ongoing expansion process to improve patients’ access to neurology centers around Michigan as the institution will be introducing the new neurologic service point of care soon by the time they open the new brain center in Owosso, Michigan, Dr. Rany Stated.

The Okemos location has been in operation for the past two months and serves patients seeking general neurological treatment.
