UPDATE:
LANSING - Lansing has been buzzing about a new pizza restaurant with a twist when it comes to cooking.
It's been over a week since the opening of Tony Sacco's Coal Oven Pizza. Now what makes Tony Sacco's so special is the way the pizza is cooked with coal mined in Pennsylvania which burns at about 650 to 1000 degrees which cooks the pizza in about three minutes.
"We opened on Monday the 21st and yesterday was a week and it's been non stop busy. Everybody seems to love it. I want to thank everyone for their support, and you know keep coming in. We've been well received. A few minor hiccups but to be expected during a restaurant opening. Everybody's been great, Everybody's been great." Says Dan Zopf, managing partner of Tony Sacco's.
A celebration is in the works that will include performances by Radio Disney artists, opening of the indoor performance venue, unveiling of the outdoor community plaza, state-of-the-art parking in the new high tech ramp, and presentations on the 25X25 foot video board.
