OKEMOS, MI - Meridian Township held a virtual public meeting on Wednesday July 14th to discuss the current progress of development projects that have been approved for in the community.
The meeting began at 7:00 pm and was hosted by the Neighborhoods & Economic Development Director Amber Clark, and invited residents and business owners to hear about the steps being taken to revitalize Okemos.
“The developers want the same things as residents do and want successful projects and want them to be enhancements for the community, no matter what they are and what we approve,“ said Clark.
A presentation was given to share with everyone in attendance of the development progress within the Township, including the Village of Okemos, Buddy’s Pizzeria, Newton Pointe, Silverstone Estates, Sparrow, and possible future development in Okemos. Director Clark encouraged everyone that attended the public meeting to ask questions that were related to development projects that have been approved and added, “My goal is to build those relationships, and build a brand in our community.”
For questions or additional information, please contact the Township’s Neighborhoods & Economic Development Director Amber Clark.
