OKEMOS - A neighborhood pub is currently under construction in Downtown Okemos. Located at 2360 Jolly Road, the location was formerly a Value Tire, but now will be a restaurant called Joe’s On Jolly.

The renovation will include an outdoor patio holding fire pit seating, seasonal outdoor entertainment and lawn games. There will be indoor dining offered, with an indoor fireplace for the winter and garage doors that will open up in the summer.

The project is currently seeking approval from the County Drain Office for a rain garden that will appropriately manage water run off at the site.

This project is ongoing, and city officials say it is in a good place to continue moving forward.
