Trail Talk

Trail Talk

HARRIS NATURE CENTER - A group led by Assistant Naturalist Annica Brocker, hit the trails to learn more about what they find as they travel the paths.

Guests pay five dollars to sign up and learn about the diverse natural environment and are able to see a transitional period between winter and spring with new life peaking out from beneath the leafy floor. Guests also learned about various natural flora and fauna such as 'Witches butter' a fungus that was growing on a stick or see the remains of walnuts that a critter enjoyed.

Trail talk is not planed which means that every trail talk is a little bit different on what guests would see and learn.

The best way to find out about events at the Harris Nature Center such as Trail Talk and others is to go to the Harris Nature Center website, then going to the event tab.

For the people who aren't as techy, you can go down to the Harris Nature Center and ask about events and pick up some flyers.
