UPDATE:
EAST LANSING - A Lansing golf course held an interesting event for the Juvenile Diabetes research Foundation last week.
Douglas J held it's eleventh annual golf outing at Walnut Hills Country Club. One of the main events was the Helicopter Ball Drop giving participants the chance of winning up to two thousand dollars.
"Douglas J is a really strong partner a very proud partner of the JDRF, and this is just one component of the day long series of activities. Golf outing, helicopter ball drop, after glow party, bunch of stuff. We like to pack a lot of stuff in that one day. It's a special day for us and the JDRF." Said Peter Eichler, event and promotion coordinator for Douglas J.
Participants could pay twenty dollars per ball that was then brought up into the air by helicopter and dropped over a hole.
