LANSING, MI - CATA facilities are set to reopen next Monday. Passes and tokens will be available for purchase and fares will be reinstated.
Public amenities include the Administration Building in south Lansing, the Capital Area Multimodal Gateway in East Lansing and the CATA Transportation Center in downtown Lansing.
“We look forward to resuming service with some degree of normalcy,” said CATA Chief Executive Officer Bradley T. Funkhouser.
Wearing a face mask will be required starting Monday to maintain social distancing requirements. These safety measures include the CATA operators.
All fixed-route and paratransit passengers must use a bus pass or pay the one-way fare before boarding the front door. Bus passes can be purchased online at cata.org/fares. Paratransit passengers can reserve rides by calling 517.394.2282.
“We appreciate our riders’ patience and understanding as we continue to ensure their and our employees’ safety and well-being during the pandemic," said Funkhouser.
