CATA Holds 50-Year Anniversary Celebration

LANSING, MI - On May 12, the Capital Area Transportation Authority (CATA) held a 50-year anniversary press conference to celebrate their milestone and look ahead to the next 50 years.

Bradley T. Funkhouser, CATA's CEO, provided opening remarks and was joined by various speakers to show their support. Some of the speakers included Lansing Mayor Andy Schor, spokespeople for both Senator Gary Peters and Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin, and more.

Following the press conference, attendees were invited to ride a demonstration electric Nova Bus.

Congratulations to CATA for 50 years of serving the community!
