UPDATE: INGHAM COUNTY - With all the new technology coming out it's only a matter of time before out four legged friends start using it as well. There are even apps you can download onto your tablet that they can play with. So I decided to get it a try. My first tester is eight month old Mao who loves to play.

She seemed extremely disinterested with the first app Jitterbug.
Then with the fishing game she started to play but got bored with that too. Once I start up the Call a Cat app she's interested. She hears the other cat and starts looking under and around the tablet. In the end it looked like Mao is sticking with the good old fashioned mouse toy.

After my first test with Mao I decided that I needed a few more opinions so I went to the Capital Area Humane Society.

I start off with the call a cat app and one cat really got interested in it. He even tried to get on the internet. Not long after to more decide to join in to see what was going on. I then tried the fishing app and the first cat went nuts.

They didn't seem too interested in Jitter Bug thought, but one of the other kitties liked to watch it but that was about it.

After a little grooming the new tested start to set in and even get a little too excited when one cat sneezed all over my tablet.

In the end it just depends on the cat's mood and it seemed that while some cats couldn't care more other really seemed to have a ball.
