MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The Autumn Color Walk took place this past Sunday at the Harris Nature Center. Around 25-30 participants walked the trail on a gorgeous fall day with many outstanding views.
Many young children walked the trail, which makes Park Naturalist Jacie Jackerd happy to see.
"A lot of kids these days don't always get to go out in nature as much as kids in the past," Jackerd said.
Jackerd said that this Autumn Walk is not the only event that takes place on the trail.
"We have all sorts of guided walks. One of my favorites is 'Howl at the Moon' where we walk the same path, but at night." Jackerd said
