Experimac employees and Meridian business leaders cut the ribbon at Experimac in East Lansing.
MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - Business leaders from Meridian Township met on Thursday morning to welcome a new member to the business community.
Experimac opened a few months ago in Hannah Plaza in East Lansing, which is still a part of Meridian Township.
The ceremony was held to mark their joining the Meridian business community, and to enjoy some pizza and a ribbon cutting.
This Experimac location is owned by Brian Town and the business specializes in selling and repairing Apple devices.
He described the busniess as being, "we want to sell stuff (Apple products), that's a couple years old that's a heck of alot cheaper, where someone could really get into an Apple computer or device and not have to spend a whole bunch of money."
Meridian Township Economic Development Director Chris Buck brought a very large pair of scissors to help cut the ribbon and officially introduce Experimac as a member of the Meridian Area Business Association.
"They said thanks for opening a business in Meridian Township and in the area and keep doing a great job and that we're here to support you," said Brian after the ceremony.
In the fast moving world of technology, a store that prolongs the usable life of a device is very helpful to the consumer, whether they are looking to have something fixed or looking for a cheaper alternative to buying a new generation Apple products.
Experimac's address is 4790 Hagadorn Rd #128, East Lansing, MI 48823.
