MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - Meridian Mall is allowing businesses to rent out a space for a week.

Meridian Mall officials say the Pop-Up Shop is the best space for local established and emerging boutiques, artisans and entrepreneurs who are ready to launch their brand. It is really beneficial to businesses who are doing well, and offer great products, but they do not have the money to find a space and renovate it.

Not only have local businesses already taken advantage of this opportunity, but online companies have too. Shawn Dunham, Meridian Mall Senior Specialty Leasing Managers says, "It gives online companies a way to test the market, in fact a lot of companies such as Amazon find it better to come into the market and see for themselves how it operates".

Offering a Pop-Up Shop in Meridian Mall also allows businesses to experience brand development. They can come in locally as an easy way to get face to face time with their market, build their brand, and sell products in a retail space.

Some items included in the week rental are all utilities covered, fixtures such as racks and tables, a pallet wall to make the space any size, exposure on all of the mall social media websites, and so much more.

The Pop-Up Shop is located in the main isle across from Victoria Secret. Meridian Mall sought the opportunity to add Pop-Up Shops from incubator markets. The mall believes it will be a huge platform opportunity to partner with businesses on.
