UPDATE: MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The Mid-Michigan Program for Greater Sustainability is on it's way. This is a grant that is a nationally sponsored program.
The goal is to provide a higher quality of life for residence and to help local businesses become more "green". The projects focus is on sustainability. This includes local transportation, housing, infrastructure and the communities regional planning efforts. The main grant will be used to create mini-grants to help organizations and promote that higher quality of living. This is a 3 year project meant to bring the community together. For this project, communication is going to play a major role.
