HASLETT - Losing three key seniors from last year's squard, the Haslett Vikings needed someone to step into that leadership role to continue their dominance in the CAAC. Senior Megan Mowid has taken that role and rolled with it, taking control of Tuesday night's game against Holt.

Down 42-29, in the third quarter, Mowid went on a, 10-0, spurt to end the quarter with a three-point deficit. Mowid finished with 25 points on the night.

Haslett forward Karson Tripp put the pressure on, aiding Mowid in the fourth. Tripp gave Haslett its first lead of the night, draining two quick hoops to begin the quarter. The junior forward continued her impressive season, scoring 16.

Coming off a 38-point performance against Lansing Eastern, Holt wing Kamrin Reed rode her momentum, hitting six three-pointers for 19 points at the time of the Rams', 42-29 ,lead.
