MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - FEMA has been using outdated flood plain maps, and recently re-drew the maps in Meridian Township. The new maps are digital, more accurate, and accessible online.

“I think having a more accurate map is appropriate. In fact, the old map has significant error on its perimeters,” said township resident Todd Houser.
