OKEMOS - Festive floats and the band are all important, but the football game remains the cornerstone of homecoming week; Okemos is no exception. The Chiefs started fast when quarterback Jonny Bolas broke out for a 72 yard touchdown run on the first play from scrimmage. Jackson answered back on their first possession when Jaylen McDonald ran it in from 18 yards out. Okemos responded when Bolas earned his second rushing touchdown on a 5 yard run. From that point forward it was all chiefs, who ran the ball hard in route to a 48-14 final score.
Bolas finished with 147 yards on just 8 carries.
