HASLETT - Alaina Melton is a 8th grade student and choir singer from Haslett Middle School. Over the past few years, the young singer has sung for various organizations such as the MSU Children's Choir and Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp. Outside of singing, Alaina enjoys acting in plays, baking various treats, and playing with her cat named Bolt.

Alaina's dream is to take her singing to the next level by joining the Blue Lake International Choir for their latest trip to Europe during this upcoming summer. Since early March 2014, Alaina and her family have partnered with local businesses such as Asian Buffet and Blue Gator Grill to raise funds for her trip through charity events.
