Seniors Lead Playoff Push For
Haslett

HASLETT - As the regular season comes to a close, boys and girls basketball teams around the area are looking to their senior leaders to help build momentum for the playoffs. The Haslett Girls basketball team has three Seniors doing just that.

Ranked 6th in the state and 1st in the CAAC Red the Haslett Girls basketball team honored their seniors after last Friday's 55-41 win over Ionia.

Seniors, Sarah Trosko, Mariah Kronner, and Allison rich have been a huge part of the team's success.

"They give us great leadership," said Head Coach Bob Currier when asked about his 3 upperclassmen.

"They've been significant players for the last three and in Sarah's case four years, and they are kids who have led the way for us this season and they've enabled us to be as good as we are."

At 16-1 Haslett is on pace to go undefeated in league and win their first conference title in a decade. Their last league game is against Owosso on February 21st.
