• With property values continuing to decline state wide residents are putting there homes up for sale.

UPDATE: MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - At the Township Board budget meeting, the Township Assesor notified the board of the projected 3.5 decline of property values in Meridian Township. The decline will result in residents having to pay less taxes to the Township. This could affect the Township's 2012 budget.
Though the exact percentage of the decline has not been finalized the Township Assessor David Lee hopes to have the correct numbers by December of this year.
