MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - Attention all scouts! Harris Nature Center is offering Scout Badge Workshops for all levels of scouts. Take tours of the nature center and learn about different kinds of wildlife while earning your pins, badges or patches in a fun, creative and outdoor way.

Tiger Cubs can earn electives for Family Activity badges, while Cub Scouts can earn their Academic Pins. Webelos can choose from the Forester, Naturalist and Geologist pins, and Boy Scouts can earn their merit badges. Girl Scouts from all levels of scouting are able to earn their Naturalist Legacy Badge as well as fun patches such as Cross Country Skiing, Earth Day, Winter Fun and Geo-Caching.

Workshops last for 2 hours and include all of the activities necessary to complete the badge or patch. All Badge Workshops include time spent outdoors, so be sure to come dressed appropriately for the weather.
