Vision Charette Project

UPDATE: LANSING - The designers for the Vision Charrette project along Michigan Avenue and Grand River Avenue from the Capitol to Webberville want your help! Come share your ideas May 1st-7th.

ORIGINAL STORY: LANSING - The Tri-County Regional Planning Commission is hosting a Vision Charrette project through the Mid-Michigan Program for Greater Sustainability. Their goal is "to create a sustainable plan for the corridor that includes economic and workforce development, housing, land use, transportation, environmental and infrastructure investments."

The design team for the project is looking for your input! The first opportunity to share your ideas is at the Opening Event at the Lansing Center from 6-9:30PM on May 1st. There will also be an Open House Sunday, May 5th from 3-5PM at the Charrette Studio. You are also welcome to stop by the Charrette Studio anytime between 10AM and 7PM Thursday, May 2nd through Monday, May 6th to see the progress and give your input. Finally, there will be a Work-In-Progress Presentation Tuesday, May 7th at 6:30PM at the Hannah Community Center in East Lansing that will summarize the ideas cultivated from the community.
