Penn Station & Five Below Coming to
Meridian Township

UPDATE: MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - Five Below, a teen-oriented accessories store will open a new location in the Meridian Towne Center on Marsh Road. The store prices all of it's merchandise at $5 or less and is the first location to open in the Lansing metropolitan area.

Five Below is expected to open April 12.

On the corner of Grand River and Marsh Road, in the building formerly known as "The Mole Hole", Penn Station will open its second location in the Lansing/Okemos area.

"Mole Hole just moved out weeks ago and they're already doing an interior model of the space," said Peter Menser, associate director within the Meridian township department of planning and development.

Owned and operated by Cheryl Kellogg, the restaurant specializes in east coasts subs and has another location in the Frandor plaza in Lansing. Penn Station is expected to open in June 2013.

“Newer Franchises that haven’t been here necessarily, they see Lansing and great Lansing and Meridian Township as a destination to… you know tap into this market," said Peter Menser, "So that’s good news.”
