Michigan's Energy Future

UPDATE: LANSING - Topics included renewable energy and energy efficiency in the state.

Executive Director Jim Weeks, of the Michigan Municipal Electric Association, presented at the Lansing forum. He said “The more often that we change the foundational legislation under which we operate I would say creates inefficiencies in how we go forward.”

Businesses, utility companies, special interest groups, and residents were encouraged to attend.

There are other discussions taking place around the state with different speakers. All opinion gathered will be put in a report, which will be used to help policymakers make future energy decisions.
