Township Manager Replacement Process Begins

Township Manager Replacement Process
Begins

UPDATE: MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The township is now reviewing applications for the new Township Manager. Clerk Dreyfus says that the board is going through the Michigan Municipal League in order to find the applicants. The Michigan League is known for their experience and have successfully done executive searches for over 100 municipalities in Michigan.

"It will probably take upwards of about 8 weeks and hopefully a decision will be made by the end of March or beginning of April," said Clerk Dreyfus.

The township expects to have many applicants and has created a community profile in order to make sure that they find the perfect fit. The community profile gives a description of the township and what they are looking for. The board hopes this will help them find a qualified and great fit for the new manager.

The board is looking to get someone in office by May 3, 2013.
