Hawk Island Snow Park Is Back Up And
Running

UPDATE: LANSING - "I'm really excited about it cause like, since I haven't really been able to go in several years, I really have been kind of missing it. I ski, I ski more than I snowboard so I need a good place where I can just teach myself and have fun,"

Some costumers are excited for the chance to enhance their skills while there are some who are just excited for family time.

"We haven't been here yet this season and with winter and it snowing we wanted to get out and do something fun," said Rebecca Sprague

And not only are the customers excited, but the managers are as well.

"I'm just excited to bring the winter sports scene down to Lansing,"

And they hope to bring something extra on top of thee excitement.

"Just fun I mean thats what we came to bring and with the park and everything you know we just want to make it as much fun as possible,"

And with last years weather being a big problem fro business, because of high temperatures, they just hope it's cold enough to keep business going this year.

"If it was just cold, uh we can make our own snow here. If we just had the cold temps then it'd be fine. This thaw outs that we've been getting hasn't really been helping u, but we roll with the punches and we can bring a professional area in any conditions,"
