UPDATE: MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The Meridian Recycling Center is collecting Christmas trees until January 31st.

You can drop off trees at the recycling center or you can bring your tree to Wonch Park or Nancy Moore Park from dawn to dusk. All trees should be free of wire, nails, and decorations to be properly recycled. Tree recycling costs five dollars per tree.

Recycled trees will be taken to another facility in Michigan to be chopped into wood chips and compost to be put back in the environment.
