UPDATE: EAST LANSING, MI - Michigan State University recently held a Global Festival in the student union on campus. Many student organizations and cultural clubs came together and displayed items, clothing, and even instruments from different countries.

A Korean drum circle drew the attention of many attendees downstairs while dancing and other performances captivated people upstairs. Tables allowed passers-by to try on clothing, look through pictures, and translate their names into other languages.

Ryan Yousif, an MSU student associated with the Middle Eastern display, said that the event serves as a positive place for students and families to learn about other parts of the world.
