A D.J. cranked out the tunes as crowds cheered participants along.

The race exists and functions to promote student activeness and to raise money for school functions and supplies. Sonia Lerch, the event organizer, says this years funds will go toward technology.

Finally, as the races came to an end, families began to file out. Some of them made their way to Buffalo Wild Wings in East Lansing, where twenty percent of their bill would go toward Ralya Elementary. Overall, the morning was dry, and the event was a success.
