UPDATE: OKEMOS - A local sushi grill is expanding business with two new locations.

Maru Sushi and Grill will open a new store on the corner of Coodlige Road and Lake Lansing Road, as well as a new store in Grand Rapids. Although the stores are new, old menu favorites will still be available at the new locations.

"I'm not going to try to take away what allowed us to get here, and that are some of our popular menu items, but at the same time we will be able to offer perhaps a bit more variety. Perhaps change things up to make it more attractive and more delicious," said Robert Song, CEO of Maru Hospitality Group.

Song says expanding his business was always part of his master plan and believes it was the right time for growing Maru Sushi and Grill.
