UPDATE: MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The Mid-Michigan Program for Greater Sustainability has created an online portal system to get residents talking about a greener future.

As part of a 3-year initiative toward a more sustainable future, residents in the Tri-County area are now able to participate in discussions and share their perspectives without leaving the comfort of their homes. People are able to submit new ideas or just provide feedback to ideas already posted.

Henry Love from Michigan Energy Options said, "I think what we want to see is the largest amount of public participation that we could possibly get and then we can make better and more informed decisions about where we want to go."

You can join in on the conversations by logging on to http://ideas.midmichigansustainability.org/ and create a new account or connect through Facebook.
