UPDATE: HASLETT - The tour was put on by the Haslett Beautification Association. After a good outcome of residents coming to view the gardens on the tour, the Haslett Beautification Association hopes to make this tour annual.

Seven local gardens in Haslett were included in the tour. One garden of note is the one in Marsh Pointe. The garden was constructed by a local boy scout troop in an effort to provide a garden that would be easy for handicap and disabled residents to garden in.

Rhea Van Atta and Sabrina Jenkins, President and Vice of the Haslett Beautification Association, hope that next year more gardens will be included in the tour.
