MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The Meridian Township Board met on May 5th to discuss Special Use Permit #19141 The Cured Leaf TC Inc. Meridian Township Trustee Patricia Jackson tells the Township Board, "I move to adopt the resolution of special use permit #19141 to establish a commercial medical marijuana provisioning center at 3520 Okemos Road."

Patricia Jackson told the Township Board that, "This project has been thoroughly vetted by the Planning Commission, and the Planning Commission has recommended approval of the introduction of the Cured Leaf project in this built facility at the corner of Okemos and Haslett, a 2,882 square foot commercial provisioning center at this location." She also explains that she supports this project based upon the Planning Commission's approval and recommendation.

The Township Board approved the motion seven to zero.
