Meridian Township Board Welcomes New Police Officer: Jaclyn Allen

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - At the June 4th Meridian Township Board Meeting, the Board welcomed a new Police Officer. Meridian Township Police Chief Ken Plaga introduced Jaclyn Allen, their new Police Officer. Officer Allen is a graduate of Haslett High School and Lansing Community College (LCC).

Chief Plaga also mentioned a fun fact about Officer Allen, being able to hold a record of doing 44 pushups in a minute.

In her first week, she also assisted a field officer in helping a heart attack patient receive proper medical treatment.

Officer Allen thanked the Board and everyone who welcomed her to the community in open arms.
