MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - Finalizing and implementing a long-term funding plan for public transportation, including a detailed scope for Redi-Ride services, is one of Meridian Township's goals this year. The future of the Township's Redi-Ride Service, operated by the Capital Area Transportation Authority (CATA), will be before voters on August 6th. On this new episode of Open Line we discuss the Redi-Ride Millage Renewal ballot language, what the transportation service entails and potential improvements to the service.
