Hands On Opportunity For Students

LANSING - On Friday April 26th in Downtown Lansing. Michigan Career Quest held an event at the Lansing Center with over 75 employers in attendance.

The event began at 9am on the 2nd floor in the Governor’s Room with many public officials, including Mayor Andy Schor. High School students came to get hands on experience from different occupations to see where their career interest would lead. Careers varied from the medical field, science, national army guard and more.

The purpose of this event was to expose the students to early opportunities and pique their interest for jobs that are available and in-demand in the country.
