MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - A new business that will help decrease the blight in the Meridian Township was officially welcomed yesterday with a signature ribbon cutting.

Woodworth Commerical, a business that focuses on filling the empty business in the township, is located on Okemos Road.

The big scissors and red ribbon symbolize a long time coming for Senior Managing Director Todd Kosta of Woodworth Commercial.

"I've been in business in commercial real estate for 15 years and I wanted to continue to grow and expand here," Kosta said. "It was just time to go out on our own and have our own building."
