LANSING - On Thursday, September 13th The Michigan Agency for Energy hosted it's second "Ride & Drive" event where you can test drive plug-in vehicles.
Spokesperson for the Michigan Agency for Energy Judy Palnau further explained to purpose of the event.
"So here today we have ride and drive, but we also have a focus group of electric vehicle owners who will be describing their experience and they'll provide very valuable insight into the study, everything is like how much of a charge time is too long," said Palnau.
Along with The Michigan Agency for Energy; Midwest Evolve, Tri-County Regional Planning Commission andGreater Lansing Area Clean Cities where parters in the event.
The show featured hybrid cars, which use both and electric along with the EV vehicles. For those that don't have electric or hybrid vehicles organizers still encourage people to come out to ask questions or enjoy and quick ride.
Some of the cars in the show included BMW, Chevrolet and Tesla.
