HASLETT - The Haslett Capital Area District Library hosted a drop- In Thanksgiving craft event November 18th.
Supplies were provided for kids to make fall wreaths and color on festive coloring paper.
"Today we're doing a Thanksgiving wreath for the kids, and it's basically a base with eight leaves on it and a ribbon." said the Assistant Librarian, Ingrid Dewald when asked about the craft being made at the event.
"I try to do a Thanksgiving craft every year with the children. I think we've been doing this probably about three to four years; this particular craft." Dewald says.
Dewald shares that she offers something for the parents to do while their children make the wreaths. "I also try to get a coloring card so that the parents who are with the kids have something to do as well."
The Capital Area District Libraries will host more upcoming holiday craft events including, making a gingerbread house and doing Yule crafts.
