HOMTV Partners with CCTV to Broadcast Solar Eclipse

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - HOMTV partners with CCTV (Capital Community Television) in Salem, Oregon to broadcast their LIVE stream of the Solar Eclipse called "Salem Eclipse 2017" on HOMTV, Comcast Channel 21 and www.homtv.net from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm EST.

Salem, Oregon is in the path of the totality of the Solar Eclipse and CCTV's LIVE coverage includes traffic updates, emergency information and commentary by astronomy experts.

Beginning at 9:05 am PST on August 21st in Salem, Oregon, the Moon will slowly begin to move in front of the Sun, eventually covering it completely at 10:18 am. Totality - the time where the Moon fully eclipses the Sun - will last for approximately 1 minute, 54 seconds. For many, this will be a once in a lifetime event.
