MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - If you've yet to make a trip to the Meridian Farmers' Market you'll soon have more opportunities.
The Meridian Farmers' Market is now opened Wednesday and Saturday from 8 AM to 2 PM at the Central Park Pavilion.
Some vendors have been attending the market for over 30 years.
Most of the products sold are grown locally or within the state of Michigan. With local fresh foods such as Michigan blueberries, vegetables, honey and sweets.
Sandy Ridge Farmer Herb Confer has been vending at the farmers' market for six years.
"I love the direct contact with the customers. We work very hard to make the products that we have, and I just love the direct communication, the direct sale," said Confer.
His business originated with vegetables and it progressed into a bakery after a wood fire, brick oven was built onto the farm.
