MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - Plastic, styrofoam, glass and even yard waste. You name it, Reclaimed by Design recycles it.
Many residents voluntarily visit this Recycling Center, utilizing it for all their decomposing and recycle needs.

Meridian Township resident and business owner of Blue Gill Grill Tom Warner said he comes to the center 3 times a week.

"Not only do I do my home, but we do our business as well," Warner said. "I've been recycling for about 6 years. This recycling center is in between my business and my house, I pass by it everyday."

Convenience, simplicity and organization are a few criteria Owner and Operator Trevor Hoover aimed to achieve when taking over the center 6 years ago.

"We really went for simplicity. Recycling for a lot of people is a chore and it is extra stuff you have to do," Hoover said. So really we wanted to keep clear, simple, keep it easy. We are twice as busy as we were when we started. We opened it more, extended the hours, taking more materials."

The center is open 6 days a week, located on the East Lake drive in Haslett.
